The Adventure Explorers programme is ideal for children aged 6 to 12, it is designed to give the children an outdoor-themed experience and develop new skills. The explorer’s programme is based at our Boiler House Activity Centre.

As of February 2023, we are offering an optional extended programme for Explorers, with a new earlier drop-off times between 8am-9am.

What shall I bring? Participants are asked to bring clothes that they don’t mind getting a little dirty, a coat, a packed lunch and a drink. All the specialist equipment for the activities is provided.

We advise that if your child is coming on a day when we run our Nature Walk down the Hebble Trail, you pack a waterproof coat and shoes that you are happy for your child to walk in. These can be provided as well, however we advise bringing your own when possible.
